In-house since October 2010 · Zero subcontractors

The team behind every production deployment. Two named leaders. One in-house engineering team in Kathmandu. The engineer you meet in discovery is the engineer who ships your code.

LEADERSHIP

Two named, LinkedIn-verifiable humans you can reach directly.

No agency-shaped wall between you and the people who run the engagements. WhatsApp them at the numbers below — both are real.

Roshan Subedi, Founder & MD

Founder · Managing Director · Technology Lead

Roshan Subedi

Kathmandu, Nepal · UTC+5:45

Roshan founded E Multitech Solution in Kathmandu in October 2010 with a single thesis: regulated and operations-critical software should be engineered, not assembled. Fifteen years later, he personally reviews every architecture engagement, signs off on every commercial proposal, and stays on a direct WhatsApp line with active clients across the US, UK, EU, Australia, and Asia. The reason NRB’s litigation system is still live in year five — and DiNePa hits 99.4% uptime — is that Roshan is still at the architecture table.

Director of Partnerships · Australia & APAC

Santosh Bhattarai

Melbourne, Australia · UTC+10/+11

Australia-based marketing partner covering Asia-Pacific client relations and regional market development from Melbourne. Santosh provides local Australian time-zone coverage, regional contracting context, and APAC sales relationships that complement the in-house engineering team in Kathmandu. For Australian and Asia-Pacific clients, your first point of contact is often Santosh — with engineering follow-up from Roshan and the Kathmandu team within the same business day.

HOW WE’RE STRUCTURED

Six in-house engineering practices, one team.

The same engineers cover multiple practices — that’s how a 15-year team gets enough depth to ship hundreds of projects across 7 service lines without subcontracting.

Back-end Engineering

Stack: Node.js + TypeScript, PHP 8 + Laravel 9, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, WebSocket.
Production reference: Nepal Rastra Bank litigation system (Laravel + MySQL, 5+ years live), DiNePa multi-tenant SaaS (Node + WebSocket, 99.4% uptime).

Mobile Engineering

Stack: Native iOS (Swift), Native Android (Kotlin), Flutter, React Native. Offline-first storage, biometric auth, OS-level push delivery, App Store + Play Store ops.
Production reference: Upkeep.pro (native iOS + Android, 500K+ daily appointments), AI Home Care Caregiver App (Flutter).

AI / ML Engineering

Stack: OpenAI / Anthropic (BAA where required), in-house fine-tuned models, vector DBs (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate), Whisper transcription, AWS Textract OCR, evaluation pipelines (Langfuse).
Production reference: 6 AI capabilities embedded in the AI Home Care SaaS (document intelligence, voice-to-text, risk detection, predictive ops, anomaly detection, summarisation).

SaaS Architecture

Specialty: Multi-tenant data isolation (schema-per-tenant or shared with RLS), subscription billing engines, real-time event processing (WebSocket), RBAC, multi-language / multi-currency.
Production reference: DiNePa (4 isolated portals, 80+ concurrent suppliers, 5+ years live).

DevOps & SRE

Stack: AWS, DigitalOcean, on-prem intranet (for central-bank engagements). Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes when justified, Prometheus + Grafana, PagerDuty, runbook-driven on-call.
Production reference: DiNePa 99.4% uptime over 5+ years; NRB isolated intranet deployment.

Quality Engineering & Compliance

Practice: Test automation (Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Cypress), CI-blocking suites, real-device mobile testing, compliance audit prep (HIPAA, EVV, GDPR, SOC 2-aligned), security review on every release.
Production reference: Central-bank-grade audit readiness on NRB; healthcare-grade compliance design on the AI Home Care SaaS.

HOW WE WORK

Six engineering practices the team holds to.

  1. 01

    Documentation-first architecture

Every engagement starts with a written architecture document the next team could pick up cold. We've handed over codebases to enterprise procurement teams that read the docs and asked zero clarifying questions. That’s the bar.

  2. 02

    Pair programming on high-stakes paths

Payment integrations, EVV verification, audit-log code, multi-tenant isolation middleware — anywhere a bug is genuinely expensive — gets two engineers on it. Always. It’s slower per line and cheaper per incident.

  3. 03

    Code review before merge, always

No code reaches production without review by another engineer on the team. CI blocks the merge until both the test suite passes and a human-reviewer approval is recorded. Doesn’t matter how senior the author is.

  4. 04

    Quarterly architecture review per client

Every retainer client gets a written quarterly architecture review: cost, performance, security posture, dependency health, technical debt accumulating. We surface problems early instead of waiting for the support ticket.

  5. 05

    Blameless post-incident reviews

Any Sev-1 or Sev-2 incident gets a written postmortem within five business days — what happened, why, what we changed, what we’re still working on. Sent to the client. No finger-pointing, no buried failures.

  6. 06

The engineer who builds it stays on it

No bait-and-switch to juniors after the contract signs. No "transition" to a different team six months in. The engineer who wrote your auth layer is still the engineer maintaining it in year three. That’s the entire reason our reference deployments are still live in year five.

JOIN US

We’re growing the team in Kathmandu.

If you’re an experienced engineer who wants to ship production software that’s still running in year five (not just demoed in week five), we’d love to talk.

Senior Back-end Engineer

Kathmandu · Full-time
